Bonds
To get your bond back as quickly as possible please follow the instructions below:
Return all keys to Pinnacle. Please mark on each key which tenant it belonged to and what room the key opens. All keys must be sent back to us by the last day of your tenancy contract.
All tenants must be up to date with rent payments. If anyone on your tenancy owes rent it will hinder the return of all bonds for that property.
You must submit closing bills for water
electric
gas
You may also be asked to show proof of payment for council tax depending on the type of tenancy agreement you have.
The closing bill must show that all charges have been paid up to the last day of your tenancy agreement. A final bill with no proof of payment will not be accepted. The final bill must state that it has been paid and the account is closed or the bill must be submitted with a receipt to show the payment has been made to that utility company.
To speed up the process of receiving your final bills please telephone the utility companies on the day you move out of your property with the meter readings.
Pinnacle can not telephone utility companies to check proof of payment so copies must be sent in via e-mail, fax or post. Photocopies of bills will be accepted.
When you close your account, you must transfer the new tenants names on to the account to ensure that you are not chased for their bills. The names will be provided to you before the end of your tenancy. Do not put any future bills in Pinnacle's name or address or you may be charged for administration costs of removing our name from the bill.
Please remember that you can log onto the Pinnacle website to keep yourself updated with your bond process. Once we receive all items that we have requested we aim to return your bonds within 21 days.
